Setting up your company page’s story is pretty simple, but we’re here to walk you through it. Follow this quick and simple guideline to properly set up your Facebook Business Page “Our Story”:
Login to your Facebook Business Page and look just below your cover photo to find “Our Story”. From there, you can click on “+ Tell people about your business,” or on the button above it to add a photo.
We suggest adding a photo that closely relates to your business. It could be your logo or a fun and interesting image that gives viewers insight into the culture of your company. We added an image similar to our cover photo – a grove of aspen trees!
Facebook allows you to make edits with basic word processing features, like H1, H2, bullets, numbers, HTML edits, quote block, and adding a photo.
You can also highlight a section of text to add a hyperlink or bold/italicize words.
Once you’ve written your business story, go ahead and click on “Publish Update” at the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
Telling your audience a little more about your business is now as easy as ever. Facebook wants each Business Page to feel as unique as each individual business. Utilizing the Facebook Business Page “Our Story” feature will allow your page followers and viewers to learn more about what your company does, what you stand for, how to get in touch with you, your company culture, and more.
